Description: Medical Doctor Associates is looking of Locum tenens Internal Medicine opportunity in Michigan right now, this job will be presented in Michigan. More details about this job opportunity please read the description below. Description: The 130 bed hospital is looking to for 2 day hospitalists and 1 nocturnist to add to its expanding program. Day hospitalists see 18-! 20 patients per day. Nocturnists will handle 7-10 admissions each night. There is midlevel support from 10a-10p daily.
Day Hospitalists responsibilities include rounds, admissions, H&Ps, discharge summaries, consults and code response. There is no call or procedures required for this position. Procedures are handled by General Surgeons, Emergency Medicine physicians and Respiratory Therapists. The hospital uses Cerner EMR for its order entry and charting and IMBills is used for the hospital billing.
Credentialing takes approximately 30 days. The hospital would like to start new candidates in mid July/early August. Candidates should be residency trained Internists or Family Medicine physicians with recent inpatient experience, hold a current ACLS and have a current MI license and MI pharmacy certificate.
