Overview
With continued growth and high patient demand, Henry Ford Health System's Center for Senior Independence is seeking a board certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician. Geriatric fellowship training preferred. Geriatrics experience required. This position is employed by the Henry Ford Medical Group.

Responsibilities

The Henry Ford Medical Group is looking for a full time Geriatrician to care for patients in Detroit area. The position will be working with Henry Ford's Division of Community Care Services, Center for Senior Independence. The care provided is a multidisciplinary team approach. The physicians and nurse practitioners have a collaborative practice of which they share the responsibility of care for a panel of patients. The position will require the physician to round at Henry Ford Hospital as well as nursing and assisted living homes in the metro-Detroit area. The physician will be required to be on-call one week and one weekend per month. No clinic hours on the weekends.
Henry Ford's Center for Senior Independence is a designated PACE Program participant.
Qualifications
- Must be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Must have Geriatrics experience
- Geriatrics Fellowship training preferred
- Resi! dency/Fellowship training by an ACGME or AOA accredited program is requ! ired
- CAQ in Geriatrics preferred
