Description: St Clair Shores Internists is at present recruited Medical Assistant right now, this vacancy will be situated in Michigan. For complete informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. Maintains patient flow, by assisting and promoting the delivery of primary and preventative healthcare. Performs technical procedures, lab protocols, and clinically oriented activities under physician/provider direction.
A minimum of six (6) months experience as a medical assistant in a physician clinical practice, in a current nursing clinical program or equivalent and relevant experience required.
Must be able to perform diagnostic testing, EKGs, administer injections, blood pressures, navigate Epic One Chart electronic health record, and assist with minor surgical procedures.
High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or LPN, EMT, ER Tech, Paramedic certification or equivalent and relevant experience required.
May consider nursing student from an accredited registered or licensed practical nursing program after a clinical course of study has begun.
Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association or must obtain within 30 days of placement.
