Assists the day-to-day activities within the call center’s operation. Supports staff with incoming calls such as balance inquiries, transfers, loan payments, etc. Possess knowledge of the different credit union products and services. Responsible for providing additional back-up for the FSR’s and Tellers, including relieving for lunch. Must be knowledgeable about credit union products & services; works with member service in cross-selling other products & services, including benefits & features. Helps in resolving account problems for members, answers basic lending and new account questions. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Applies knowledge of credit union systems, policies, and procedures. Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Act as a source of information and answers to questions and inquiries.
2. Research and solve routine member questions, problems or complaints and perform any follow-up needed.
3. Ensure that all credit union member-and-employee-related business is kept in the strictest confidence.
4. To maintain a professional work environment.
5. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
6. To troubleshoot and resolve internal inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.
7. To apply knowledge of credit union systems, policies, and procedures. Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
8. Treat all credit union member and employees with a positive and cooperative attitude and work effectively with call employee(s) and management.
9. To check voice mails, for the Main branch and call center, return calls to members or forward the voice mails to the appropriate person and to respond to telephone messages within 2 hours if possible and always by end of day.
10. Cross-sell credit union products and services when appropriate.
11. Mail, fax, or e-mail new member applications, loan applications and/or information to members and prospective members. As well as check for faxes from CU Service centers for check release requests.
12. To assist with covering FSR or Teller position when absent, including lunch and when needed.
13. Start loan request for members if a FSR is not available and then assign it to a FSR according to which branch the member wishes to close at.
14. Banno support tickets; checking them, answering them, and assisting other team members with problem solving.
15. Other duties related to essential job functions to meet organizational needs.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One years to three years of similar or related experience required.
Education: A high school education or GED
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.
