Position: Dental Insurance Coordinator
Duration: Part Time (20 hrs/week)
Location: Remote
Summary:
The Dental Insurance Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service in the Verification of Benefits, submitting patient charges and claims to insurance companies, reviewing claims and charges for accuracy, resubmitting and/or appealing denied claims, posting payments and adjustments to patients' accounts, answering complex patient inquiries and working on aged patient accounts via our Portal that is developed for our customers.
Responsibility:
- Test our RCM products to ensure customers do not find these issues.
- Educate our tech teams on RCM best practices and issues that should be resolved.
- Work with insurance companies to understand data output and how our systems are mapping to a universal schema.
- Communicates effectively with co-workers, Interactions are respectful and courteous.
- Becomes the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on our products and conduct user training.
- Counsel clients about Practice charges, insurance coverage, and training.
- Counsel clients about Posts payments and denials.
- Counsel clients about problem claims.
- Counsels in obtaining and following up on authorizations for office procedures.
- Research and follow up on claims denials and draft appeals letters as necessary
- Tracking insurance/payment trends
- Reporting the status of monthly accounts to Manager
- Existing in-depth US-Dental Market knowledge is a must
- 3-5 years experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
