Due to the growth of our operations, Siemens Global Business Services is looking for Financial Controller (f/m/d), who will be responsible for supporting business in financial and commercial aspects in units of English speaking countries.
What are my responsibilities?
- Consolidating monthly financial figures between different reporting systems
- Preparing business reviews and analysis of monthly results to the management
- Supporting monthly creation and update of management reporting package for legal entities
- Ensuring the alignment of all financial activities with the internal control system, contact for internal and external audits
- Supporting the year end closing process as well as the year end statutory audits
- Driving new initiatives such as reporting automation and constant change within the team and beyond
- Participation in the optimization of commercial processes, improvement of data quality in order to increase the degree of digitization and automation
What do you need to make real what matters?
- Academic degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- 3-5 years of professional experience in corporate finance management
- Relationship management skills, excellent communication skills
- Fluent written and verbal communication in Business English
- Managing the financial statements of assigned area of responsibility (FCST & BDG Net Capital Employed, Free Cash Flow, Royalties, Tax) to ensure transparency and support decision-making;
- Excellent professional knowledge of MS Office (expert knowledge of Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with a critical mindset
- High degree of self-initiative with the ability to learn, manage uncertainties and undertake new challenges
- Experience in digitalization and innovation development
- Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, eSpace will be a plus
