We're looking for 3 Product Engineers to join our CICV Circuit Simulation Product Engineering Team in Cairo, Egypt .
Product Engineers are skilled professionals who specialize in addressing and resolving circuit simulation-related problems and complexities. They act as representatives for customer needs within cross-functional product teams. Their responsibilities involve analyzing and profiling software performance on extensive collections of analog circuits, such as ADC, PLL, SerDes, Memories, and High-Speed IOs, with the aim of enhancing simulation efficiency and reliability. In addition, they provide assistance to Siemens Application engineers during initial adoption assessments, collaborating closely with R&D engineers and QA teams on advanced projects related to accuracy, performance, capacity, and functionality. Moreover, Product Engineers create technical materials and white papers to showcase Siemens EDA's expertise at international conferences.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for bringing complex customer circuit simulation issues to closure.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of dashboards tracking incoming issues and measuring the organization’s customer support effectiveness.
Work with Applications Engineers to build a complete and accurate description of the problem and figure out different ways it could be resolved, partially or completely, for the customer.
Analyze the root causes of unwanted simulator behavior and the contributing factors.
Generate and evaluate a set of alternative solutions to unblock the customer.
Design innovative experiments and identify creative workarounds.
Ensure R&D is provided with a clear problem and set of goals.
Work with R&D to determine how and when resolution can be reached and set Application Engineers’ expectations accordingly.
Use the data collected over time to propose improvements to the software and processes.
Required skills, knowledge and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
Preferably has experience using Unix/Linux environments.
Experience using SPICE netlists and control languages including HSPICE, Spectre and AFS is a plus!
Experience in designing and characterizing PLLs, ADC/DAC, high-speed I/Os, etc. is preferred.
Flexible to work with remote teams located in several geographies.
Strong capability to dig through raw data and analytics.
Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
