The position
Your responsibilities
An understanding of the scope and importance of compliance, financial crimes and sanctions in a fiduciary business
Working knowledge of MS Windows environment. Prior experience of screening and suspicious activity is favourable.
Compile and maintain all legislative and regulatory returns, registrations, approvals and filings required Intertrust entities and ensure that these are effected in a timely fashion
Ensure consistent standards of corporate governance across all Intertrust service lines and jurisdictions
Attention to detail and ability to effectively priorities work and good organizational skills
Communicate openly and honestly with the business on a regular basis
Know your own limitations and ask for advice and assistance as appropriate
Act with integrity at all times
Provide assistance to Intertrust employees in relation for Intertrust entities
Take care of and establish good relationships with all team and internal client
Ensure that an up to date list of reserved company names with the JFSC is maintained and supplied in accordance with current policy
Ensure that company seals and registers for Intertrust entities are correctly used, stored and maintained
Your profile
Good time management and ability to work under pressure
Effective communicator
Must be able to use own initiative and be open minded
Experience working within a compliance function is preferred
Be flexible, self-motivated and able to work in a demanding, pressured environment
