Our EU Institution client is looking for a new colleague to reinforce the current DevOps team.
Your main duties will be:
- Development of automation scripts on server side to automate repetitive IT support tasks
- Development of C#/.NET tools to facilitate user requests management
- Identify, with the support of operations team, repetitive tasks on IT support side that could be automated and propose solutions to make it happen
- Maintain/adapt (in case of infrastructure changes) the current script/applications developed by the DevOps team
- Maintain system documentation, Support procedures and rota/cover arrangements
If you have/are:
- Good knowledge of Active Directory and user management (managing their group memberships in function of organisational changes etc…)
- DNS, GPO, ACLs, replication, ADMT, LDAP queries, user and computer certificates
- MS SQL, MS IIS
- Infrastructure management (Windows server 2016/2019, IIS, MS SQL, .Net Framework and/or .Net 6, 7)
- Expert knowledge in PowerShell (module development, management, repository, deployment...)
- Net Developer Web Application oriented
AND/OR
- SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server profiler, PL SQL, T-SQL
- Version-control system (Git, Tortoise)
- Bug tracking and development follow up tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Windows development Tools (Visual studio, SQL Developer, .Net, .Net Core, C#, Blazor, Windows Server, Javascript, WebApi / SOAP …)
- Service and proactive Minded
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
- Excellent written & verbal skills in English
- Punctual, meticulous, autonomous and reliable
- Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
- Ability to troubleshoot in complex environments and quickly identify root cause
- Attention to detail

It would also be a plus if you have:
- Microsoft certifications, including MSCE, etc.
- ITIL V4 foundation certification is an asset
- Previous experience in 2nd/3rd line support is an asset
- Experience with European Commission is an asset
- Experience working with Agile methodology is an asset
- College degree or 5+ years’ experience in complex IT environments
Working Conditions:
Work shifts of 8 hours covering the time range between 07h00 and 20h00 from Monday to Friday with some flexibility required when overtime is exceptionally needed.
Possibility to work in remote in full time (only from an EU Country) without having to travel (in Belgium/ Luxemburg) on a regular basis.
