Description: Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI is employing Geriatric Nurse Practitioner right now, this vacancy will be depute in Michigan. Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan, is seeking to employee a full-time Nurse Practitioner to work with the Bronson Geriatric Medical Service, with hours split between the new Kalamazoo Program for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE )program and Bronson Nursing and Rehab Center. Candidate must have a passion for working with the frail elder population with complex medical conditions and multiple co morbidities. The PACE program has a clinic open Mon-Friday with a Geriatrician providing primary care and Medical Director oversight for the program. The Skilled Nursing Facility has 100 beds and will be moving to a newly constructed facility in August 2013, with a full time physician.
Prefer Certified Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, demonstrated experience working with the frail elderly, and/or a background in medical/surgical care or wound care. Candidate will participate in a 1:4 call rotation and must work well with interdisciplinary teams.
