Description: Medical Doctor Associates is in need of Locum Tenens Hospitalist Physician right now, this position will be reside in Michigan. For detail informations about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Hospitalist physician job in Michigan : Critical access hospital with 25 med/surge beds and 4 ICU beds. Total patient encounters 10. Hospital needs adult only Hospitalist coverage Monday to Friday, 2p-10p. Responsibilities to include admissions, rounds, consults, and coverage in the ICU, vent management, ACLS certified.
This is mostly Acute care and ICE coverage. The hospitalist will be solo in the hospital from 5p-10p until midlevel coverage comes on for 2p-midnight or noon-10p. Prefer 7on/7off schedule. There is ED support 24/7 for procedure backup and assistance.
Surgeons are also on call for any procedures. Candidates must be board certified, residency trained Internists who are ACLS certified and are comfortable with ventilation management.
