Description: The Berner Group is at present looking to employ Physician - Internal Medicine Opportunity only right now, this position will be depute in Michigan. Location north central lower peninsula, MI.Excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join three physicians and three non-physician providers in a busy IM office practice. Excellent compensation and benefits ranges from $175,000 to $190,000. US citizen, green card or H1 visa candidates will be considered. Eligible to apply for state loan repayment program and NHSC funds.
Five-day workweek-Monday-Friday, flexible patient hours 8-5pm and extended hours available. Traditional inpatient/outpatient practice with 1 in 4 week call rotation On call Internist is responsible for unassigned and IM patient admissions, ED consults, supervising inpatient stress testing and reading EKG’s. Duties also include rounding in our 5-bed step down ICU and collaboration with respiratory therapy for ventilator management. The general surgeons perform central line placements.
The affiliated hospital is a first-class, progressive, independent, 46-bed acute care facility, with an attached 34-bed skilled nursing facility, servicing nine communities. It is a fully Joint Commission accredited primary and secondary acute care facility.
