Medical Office Receptionist: Greet and welcome patients with a smile. Inform patients of necessary paperwork, verify demographics and Patient insurance. Answer multi-line telephone sy! stem. Computer data entry.
Duties:
- Welcome patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone.
- Previous EMR experience a plus. EClinical preferred.
- Confirm and schedule patient appointments. Mail distribution, scheduling changes.
- Monitors fax inbox and distributes faxes.
- Maintain patients confidentiality according to office privacy policy.
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. Willingness to be flexible.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Proficient with computer software. Knowledge of Medical EMR. Ability to handle multi-line telephone system. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made. Able to multi-task. Attention to detail.
