The Bronson Internal Medicine Hospital Specialist Service is an employed group of board certified internis! ts. The group provides hospital coverage for primary care providers as well as consultative services. This highly functional team has a progressive, dynamic, and democratic system of functioning. Kalamazoo also has a 9 program residency through Western Michigan University that includes internal medicine, family practice, and general surgery, and will also be opening a medical school through Western Michigan University in 2014.
The Internal Medicine Hospital Specialists team provides coverage to Bronson Methodist Hospital, Bronson Battle Creek, and Bronson LakeView Hospital, along with regional coverage in South Haven and Allegan.
Eighteen, 8 hour shifts is full-time. Rounding, admitting, call, and overnight shifts are shared equally.
