Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 08/26! /2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Locum Tenen Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to provide outpatient coverage for 6 months. Start date is as soon as credentialed which is usually 6 weeks from acceptance. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. No Call. Physician will see scheduled and unscheduled patients. Approximately 10-15 patients will be seen each day. New patient appointments are 60 minutes and established patients are 30 minutes. The need for overtime should be a rare occurrence and be needed only for an urgent patient care issue. Must have Basic Cardiac Life Certification. Enter pertinent information in the computerized medical records system to include patient's chief complaint, pertinent physical findings, studies ordered, provisional or confirmed diagnosis, therapies administered, and disposition of patient at the end of the visit, recommendations for follow up care.
