We are recruiting for a leading electrical company an English speaking Electrical Contracts Manager to join their team in Ireland.
The role is based in Ireland
Missions :
Understand all tender documents and client deliverables for each project.
Ensure all project milestones are met and deadlines are met, ensure claims are received on time so that group cash flow is maintained.
Lead and manage the entire project team, setting weekly agendas and individual objectives for each team member.
Provide detailed job descriptions for all staff, clearly defining their specific roles and responsibilities.
Assign key performance indicators to each position. Conduct staff appraisals, monitor and review performance. Oversee and manage all human resources issues and the recruitment process.
Proactively contribute to value management and value engineering processes at project and programme level.
Take responsibility for the overall commercial performance of the project.
Deliver high quality work that meets expectations for timeliness, accuracy and completeness.
Carry out resource planning for the project, identifying when additional resources and/or skills are required and managing their involvement in the project.
Supporting the design or development of solutions and drawing on knowledge gained through research and analysis.
Leading client interactions/calls/presentations
Monitoring and managing risks throughout the contract. Develop solutions to reduce risks.
Profile :
Junior Cert / Leaving Cert (level 4 or 5), / GCSE in Maths and English.
You will be a qualified electrician with a minimum of 8 years experience.
Proficiency in wiring standards (17th/18th edition)
Other electrical qualifications to JIB standard or equivalent
Relevant health and safety qualification e.g. IOSH / NEBOSH
Safe Pass / ECS card and test and inspection is desirable.
Knowledge of the electrical industry, ideally the utility sector.
Valid EU/UK driving licence
Significant experience in the electricity sector, particularly in infrastructure upgrades and with blue chip clients.
